The conference will take place at the main University Campus on the banks of the river Moselle within the beautiful city of Metz, one of the 44 Places To Go in 2009 according to The New York Times, in the North East of France. The site is very accessible by road, train and plane – the nearest international airports are Luxembourg and Strasbourg. Accommodation is available both on site, and in nearby hotels. As well as the scientific programme, there will be a programme of social events and visits which will also be available to accompanying persons.
Papers and sessions on the following topics are invited:
- Impact of ICT on the mathematics curriculum
- ICT helping links between mathematics and other subjects
- New developments in technology for learning and teaching mathematics
- New approaches to mathematics teachers’ professional development
- New possibilities for assessment in mathematics
- Inspiring students to engage with mathematics
- Statistics, technology and society

Applications for presentations can be either for short presentations of 15 minutes or for long presentations of 50 minutes. Workshops sessions will be for 1 hour. There will also be space for posters to be displayed, and the conference programme will include an opportunity to discuss posters with their authors. Abstracts of 200 words (maximum) are requested for each application, and should be presented in English, and optionnally in French.
Authors of accepted proposals will be asked to provide up to 4 pages in English. A selection of papers will be published electronically in the proceedings following the conference.

Conference fees include all conference materials, entry to all conference sessions, coffee breaks, 4 lunches, excursion with dinner (wednesday afternoon and evening).
Conference fees exclude accomodation, breakfasts and dinners (except wednesday evening).
